In conjunction with a company’s technical strategy, the alignment of the company’s quality assurance programme to relevant standards is vital. The quality assurance programme is a careful analysis of the internal and external requirements of the organisation.

The focus of the will be to design and implement user friendly processes that deliver the necessary quality and food safety assurance that conforms to the latest international standards. The decision on the implementation of 3rd party standards can be made on completion of the analysis.

Together with its affiliates Biophys offers the following:

• Develop and implement protocols for IQ/OQ/PQ and Process validation.
• Define requirements for  quality management systems including food safety.
• Implement appropriate and necessary standards that conform to internal and external requirements regarding products, processes and raw materials.

Biophys are leaders in this field and have been directly involved the development of national standards with the South African Bureau of Standards and international standards, an industry advisor to the South African delegations to the Codex Commission on Fish and Fishery Products as well as Food Additives and Contaminants.
